Second stem cell transplants: The fight is not over

In December 2016 NHS England confirmed that it will not routinely fund second stem cell transplants for patients who have relapsed. We believe this is the wrong decision.

We understand and share the concern that patients and their families feel about this issue. Our supporters have helped us campaign to reverse the decision. More than 6,500 people wrote to their MP, in addition to over 18,000 people who signed a letter to the Health Secretary.

We were overwhelmed by the response to the campaign, and would like to thank every supporter who took action.

The fight is not over - we will continue to put forward the case for second transplants, and will strengthen our campaign in every way we can.

We will update you soon on how you can help us going forward.
